Salmon Burger | Part of Burger Week
This is a great Salmon Burger. We used canned salmon, but cooked fresh fish will work and canned tuna would be as good! Served on a buttered homemade bun topping with some healthy coleslaw...mmm, so good!
Instructions
- Flake cooked salmon or drain oil if using canned fish.
- In a large bowl, combine salmon, lemon juice, dill, garlic, and salt.
- Beat eggs, then add them to the mixture and combine.
- Add ½ cup of breadcrumbs and mix.
- Divide mixture into 4 and form burger patties.
- Coat with remaining bread crumbs and let rest in the fridge for 15 minutes.
- Preheat a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Add oil and fry the patties for 4-6 minutes per side.
- Serve as burgers or standalone patties.
