Fluffy Pancakes

Breakfast of champions – fluffy buttermilk pancakes! But, who has buttermilk? We never do, so this yummy recipe gives you all the taste of buttermilk pancakes but without the buttermilk! What’s your favorite topping or fruit to eat with your pancakes, well, other than Nutella of course?

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix milk and vinegar. Set aside for at least 5 minutes.
  2. Melt butter in the microwave (about 25 seconds).
  3. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Preheat a large frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Add milk and egg to flour mixture, mix until combined.
  6. Add melted butter, mix until combined.
  7. Add a small amount of butter to the hot pan and coat completely.
  8. Using a ¼ measuring cup, pour batter into three evenly sized cakes.
  9. Flip once bubbles appear, about 3 minutes. Cook on the other side for 2 minutes or until brown.
